  1. (derogatory, politics) Political slogan for the period corresponding to the fifth term of the Sejm, which lasted from 19 October 2005 to 7 September 2007, during which the Kaczyński brothers had the largest influence in Poland

Usage notes

This term is used by the political opponents of the Law and Justice party to describe the negative aspects of its rule. It encompasses authoritarian tendencies, anti-intellectualism, increase of the political influence of ultraconservative Catholic clergy, and blaming a secretive conspiracy called the "pact" (układ) for all failures.
