Etymology
From Proto-Turkic *čɨk- (“to go out”)[1].
Cognate with Kazakh шығу (şığw), Kyrgyz чыгуу (çıguu), Uzbek chiqmoq, Khakas сығарға (sığarğa), Turkish çıkmak, Azerbaijani çıxmaq (“to go out, exit”), etc.
