하낱도
Korean
Etymology
Univerbation of 한 (han, “one”) + 낱 (nat, “piece”) + 도 (-do, “even”).
Adverb
하낱도 • (hanatdo)
- (Gyeongsang, with a negated sentence) even a little
- 하낱도 안 부꾸럽다. (Gyeongsang dialect, Changwon)
- Hanatdo an bukkureopda.
- It's not even a little shameful.
Usage notes
- Speakers of other dialects often think this is a dialectal form of 하나도 (hana-do, “even one; even a little”), but 하나도 (hana-do) and 하낱도 (hanatdo) are both used in Gyeongsang and the two have separate etymologies.
