Usage notes
The dependent nouns cannot stand alone without any adjectives, and 터 (teo) usually takes an adjective clause suffixed with -ㄹ (-l) or -ㄴ (-n). Plus, it is often followed by the copula 이다 (ida, “to be”), frequently contracted into 테다 (teda) (te-da).
