წუთი
Georgian
Etymology
From Middle Georgian წუთი (c̣uti), from Old Georgian წუთი (c̣uti). For the meaning shift, compare Old Armenian րոպէ (ropē, “second; moment”) and Eastern Armenian րոպե (rope, “minute”).
The primary meaning is partially retained in the derived term წუთიერი (c̣utieri, “momentary”).
