- Thòisich e air brudhinn. / Thòisich e ri bruidhinn. / Thòisich e a' bruidhinn. ― He began to speak.
- Thòisich e air an obair aige. ― He began his work.
- Thòsich e air an geata a dhùnadh. ― He began closing the gate.
- Tha am facal "call" a' tòiseachadh ri C. ― The word "call" begins with a C.
