Cameronian (plural Cameronians)

  1. A follower of Richard Cameron (Covenanter) (1648?–1680), a leader of the militant Presbyterians, known as Covenanters, who resisted attempts by the Stuart monarchs to control the affairs of the Church of Scotland.
  2. A member of the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles), a Scottish regiment.
