Borrowed from Avestan 𐬠𐬎𐬥𐬛𐬀𐬵𐬌𐬱𐬥𐬍𐬵 (bundahišnīh, literally primal creation), being the a word from the 1st sentence of the younger (and longer) of the two recensions of the work.
