迎刃而解 [yíng rèn ér jiě]

1. ■ splits off as it meets the edge of knife without effort; bamboo splits all the way down as soon as it touches the knife's edge; be easily solved; be readily solved -- said of a problem; be smoothly done or easily solved; cut through sth. as if it were a melon; (The problem) has very acceptable solutions.; solve problems [overcome difficulties] with the greatest ease; split all the way down once it's been chopped open:
