蹭 [cèng] 动

1. ■ （摩擦） rub; scrape:

把手蹭破了 have the skin rubbed off one's hand;

那个男孩摔倒时把膝盖蹭破了。 That boy scraped his knee when he slipped and fell.

2. ■ （因擦过去而沾上） be smeared with:

小心蹭油漆。 Mind the fresh paint.

3. ■ （慢吞吞地行动） dillydally; loiter; drag along:

磨蹭 dawdle; dillydally;

一点点往前蹭 inch one's way forward;

你走这么慢， 哪辈子能蹭到家呀? You'll never get home if you drag along like this.
