1. Of or relating to Erma Bombeck (1927–1996), American humorist who wrote a popular newspaper column describing suburban home life.

     Her works also include adult writings such as Peace and Quiet and Other Hazards (Revell, 1980), described by Library Journal as "a sort of Bombeckian memoir of bumpy spots Barrett has encountered along her personal Christian path."
