耳边[旁]风 [ěr biān fēng]

1. ■ a puff of wind passing the ear -- unheeded advice; go in at one ear and out at [of] the other; be disregarded; flit by like a breeze; like water off a duck's back; a matter of no concern:

当作耳边风 let sth. in at one ear and out the other; turn a deaf ear to sth.;
