이ᅀᅵᇰ개
Middle Korean
Alternative forms
- 어〮ᅀᅵᇰ개〮 (Ézìngkày), 어〮ᅀᅵᆷ개〮 (Ézìmkáy)
Etymology
The second element is 개〮 (káy, “tidal flat”), but the first element is unclear; the shape is not typical of native Middle Korean words, but the word does not appear to be Chinese. Given the existence of orthographic variation, there seems to have been confusion over the identity of the first component even during the period.

이〮ᅀᅵᇰ개〮 (Ízìngkáy) (hanja 圍仍浦)
