- Jeolla dialect and Gyeongsang form of 만지다 (manjida, “to touch”)
- 1979 May 19, 강성도, “아지로 풀은 원수”, in 한국구비문학대계, 경상남도 김해시 삼방동:
- 와서 몬쳐 보니께네 아주머니에 들었다 말야.
- Wa-seo moncheo bo-nikkene ajumeoni-e deureot-da mar-ya.
- When he touched it [the pockets of the coat], the lady heard him.
