- Gyeongsang, Jeolla dialect, and Chungcheong form of 겨누다 (gyeonuda, “to take aim, measure”)
- 1980 February 28, 주필득, “강원도 포수 이야기”, in 한국구비문학대계, 경상남도 거창군 거창읍:
- 이 꽁을 잡을라고 말이지, 층을 꼬누고 간께 또 포르르 날라간다.
- I kkong-eul jab-eulla-go mari-ji, cheung-eul kkonu-go gankke tto poreureu nallaganda.
- In order to catch the pheasant [the hunter] took aim with his gun and [the pheasant] flapped it's wings and flew away again.
