From Korean 대창 (daechang, “chitterlings”).

テッチャン (rōmaji tetchan)
- The large intestine of a cow eaten as meat.
- 2013, Oy! Tsumame Dekita zo, page 42:
- テッチャンとは、牛の大腸、すなわちシマ腸のことを指します。シマ腸鍋なんです。
- Tetchan to wa, ushi no daichō, sunawachi shimachō no koto o sashimasu. Shimachō nabe nan desu.
- Tetchan is cow large intestine, i.e. what is called shimachō. It is shimachō hotpot.
