申辩

申辩 [shēn biàn]

1. ■ defend oneself; explain oneself; argue one's case:

允许申辩 allow sb. to argue his case;

他申辩自己无罪。 He pleaded that he was not guilty.

被告有权申辩。 The accused has the right to defend himself.

你不能为这种行为申辩。 You can't explain such conduct for yourself.
