2. to be about to be or become, future (= भाविन्) MārkP. Pañcar. (also for the future tense of √ भू MBh. iv, 928 v.l. भाव्य)
3. likely to be, on the point of becoming (» धेनु- and धेनुम्भव्या)
4. what ought to be, suitable, fit, proper, right, good, excellent Kāv. Pur. Kathās.
5. handsome, beautiful, pleasant MBh. Kāv. &c.
6. gracious, favourable (= प्रसन्न) R.
7. auspicious, fortunate Ragh. BhP.
8. righteous, pious Vcar.
