Borrowed from Persian زیاده (ziyâde), from Arabic زِيَادَة (ziyāda). Related to जास्त (jāsta). Compare Gujarati જ્યાદા (jyādā), Hindi ज़्यादा (zyādā), Punjabi ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ (ziādā) / زِیادہ (ziyādh).
