Etymology
Likely from a variant form of the verb ܗܵܘܹܐ (hāwē, “to be”), forming unattested *ܝܲܗܘܝܼܬܘܿܢ (*yahwīton) or a corruption of ܗܵܘܝܼܬܘܿܢ (hāwīton), theoretically being contractions of *ܝܲܗܘܝܼܢ ܐܲܢ݇ܬܘܿܢ (*yahwīn aton) and *ܗܵܘܝܼܢ ܐܲܢ݇ܬܘܿܢ (*hāwīn aton) respectively.
