Corrupted from Hebrew הַרְאֵל‎ (harʾēl, “mountain of God”), from הַר‎ (har, “mountain of”) + אֵל‎ (ʾēl, “El, God”).

     ‏ܘܗܕܐܝܠ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ܂ ܘܡܢ ܗܕܐܝܠ ܘܠܥܠ ܩܪ̈ܢܬܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ܂‎‎

     wa-həḏāʾêl ʾarbaʿ ʾammīn. wə-men həḏāʾêl wa-ləʿal qarnāṯā ʾarbaʿ.

     So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.[1]
