     brāšīt brē lēh allāhā l-šmayyā w-l-ʾarʿā

     In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

   • John 1:1-2:

     In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.

   • Hebrews 1:10:

     ‏ܘܡܸܢ݇ܕܪܹܝܫ݇: ܐܲܢ݇ܬ، ܝܵܐ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ، ܡ̣ܢ ܒܪܵܫܝܼܬ ܫܘܼܬܐܸܣ ܠܘܼܟ݂ ܠܐܲܪܥܵܐ، ܘܫܡܲܝܹ̈ܐ ܦܘܼܠܚܵܢܵܐ ܕܐܝܼܕܵܬܘܼ̈ܟ݂ ܝܼܢܵܐ.‎‎
