- (transitive) to stand up to, to go against, to confront
- Synonym: واجه (wājah)
- الشرطة بتهاجم مين ما وقّف بوجه النظام الراسمالي.
- iš-šurṭa bithājem mīn mā waʔʔaf bi-wijh in-niẓām ir-rasmāli.
- The police attacks anyone who goes against the capitalist system.
