Compare بَزِيم (bazīm, “a shoot of a plant or frond used to bind vegetable bundles and the bundle itself”), syn. بَزُوم (bazūm), and إِبْزِيم (ʾibzīm), إِبْزَام (ʾibzām, “the clasp of a belt or shoe”), بَزَمَ (bazama, “to bite with the front teeth; to take with two fingers”).
