مجهول

Arabic
Etymology
Derived from the passive participle of جَهِلَ (jahila, “to be ignorant, to not know”), from the root ج ه ل (j-h-l): literally, “not known”. The word is used to describe the passive voice, because in the passive the agent of the verb is usually not mentioned and is therefore unknown.
