قولتق
Ottoman Turkish
Etymology
A development of Proto-Turkic *kol (“upper arm”), whence also Ottoman Turkish قول (qol, “arm, sleeve, branch”); cognate with Azerbaijani qoltuq, Bashkir ҡултыҡ (qultıq), Kazakh қолтық (qoltyq), Turkmen goltuk and Uzbek qo'ltiq.
