Etymology

In view of the irregular homorganic first and third radical, a mashup of some other morphemes, غُنَّة (ḡunna), أُغْنِيَّة (ʾuḡniyya) or غَنَم (ḡanam) with perhaps عَن عَوَجٍ (ʿan ʿawajin);[1] the verbs and adjectives are to be presumed denominal.
