Etymology
Inherited from Old Hindi दसवै (dasavai), दसवैं (dasava͠i, Rājasthānī manuscripts) (with adverbizer affix -ai),[1] from Prakrit 𑀤𑀲𑀫 (dasama), from Sanskrit दशम (daśamá). Doublet of دَہُم (dahum, dahm). By surface analysis, دَس (das) + ـوَاں (vā̃).
