     ‏گهی از بهر او خوابش رمیده / گهی خارش به دست اندر خلیده‎

     gahi az bahr-e 'u xâbaš ramide / gahi xâraš be dast andar xalide

     Sometimes his (the gardener's) sleep has been disturbed because of it (the rose), / sometimes its thorn has cut his hand.
