      faʾarsalnā ʿalayhimu ṭ-ṭūfāna wal-jarāda wal-qummala waḍ-ḍafādiʿa wad-dama ʾāyātin mufaṣṣalātin fastakbarū wakānū qawman mujrimīna
      We caused to be sent upon them destruction abounding, locusts, lice, frogs, and the blood, as signs of proof discernibly clear, but they had considered themselves of greater importance and had been a people who caused wrongdoing to be encouraged.

      ḵuššaʿan ʾabṣāruhum yaḵrujūna mina l-ʾajdāṯi kaʾannahum jarādun mmuntaširun
      Their eyes humbled, they will emerge from the graves as if they were locusts spreading.
