أح • (ʾaḥ)
- it is there
- أح cannot stand on its own. It is only used with third-person pronouns attached to it, not enclitic pronouns. The هـ (h) that begins the attached pronouns is assimilated into the preceding ح (ḥ).
- أحهو (ʾaḥuwwe, “there it is”) masc.
- أحهي (ʾaḥiyye, “there it is”) fem.
- أحهن (ʾaḥinne, “there they are”)
- ما عم بلاقي الورود. شفتيهن شي؟ (mā ʿam blēʾe l-wrūd. šiftiyon ši?)
- I can't find the flowers. Have you seen them?
- .أحهن هونيك (ʾaḥinne hōnīke)
- They are there.
