וְדִבֶּר • (v'dibér)

1. Third-person masculine singular vav-consecutive perfect (hence future tense) of דִּבֵּר‎ (dibér).
   • Exodus 4:16, with translation of the English Standard Version:

     וְדִבֶּר־הוּא לְךָ אֶל הָעָם

     v'diber-hú l'chá él haám

     He shall speak for you to the people

   • Deuteronomy 18:18, with translation of the English Standard Version:

     וְנָתַתִּי דְבָרַי בְּפִיו וְדִבֶּר אֲלֵיהֶם אֵת כָּל אֲשֶׁר אֲצַוֶּנּוּ

     v'natatí d'varáy b'fív v'dibér alehém ét kol-ashér atsavénu

     And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.

   • Deuteronomy 20:2, with translation of the English Standard Version:

     וְנִגַּשׁ הַכֹּהֵן וְדִבֶּר אֶל־הָעָם

     v'nigásh hakohén v'dibér el-haám

     the priest shall come forward and speak to the people

   • Joshua 20:4, with translation of the American Standard Version:

     וְדִבֶּר בְּאָזְנֵי זִקְנֵי הָעִיר־הַהִיא אֶת־דְּבָרָיו

     v'dibér b'ozné zikné hair-hahí et-d'varáv

     and declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city

   • Ezekiel 14:9, with translation of the American Standard Version:

     וְהַנָּבִיא כִי־יְפֻתֶּה וְדִבֶּר דָּבָר

     v'hanaví chi-y'futé v'dibér davár
