Etymology
Inherited from some suffixed zero-grade formation of Proto-Indo-European *h₂ewlós, perhaps *h₂uliyo- or — to explain -ղ- (-ł-) instead of -լ- (-l-) — *h₂ulnyo-. Among the cognates compare especially Proto-Slavic *ùlica. The unsuffixed stem may be preserved in post-classical ուղ (uł).
Noun

- յուղի արկանել ― yułi arkanel ― to send on a voyage, to start a person on a journey
- յուղի անկանել, ուղւոյ լինել ― yułi ankanel, ułwoy linel ― to set out, to start, to leave, to depart, to go away
