Alternative forms
- դարշոյն (daršoyn)
Etymology
An Iranian borrowing: compare Persian دشنه (dašne), Old Armenian դաշնակ (dašnak) (also from Iranian).[1][2] Ačaṙean is sceptical about the connection because of the supposedly older form դարշոյն (daršoyn).[3]
