擦掉 [cā diào]

1. ■ erase; abrase; rub (out, off):

擦掉尘土 clean out;

用手背擦掉眼泪 rub the tears away with the back of one's hand;

你可以用橡皮擦掉铅笔记号。 You can erase pencil marks with a rubber.

这墨水渍擦不掉。 This ink stain won't rub out.
