Usage notes
- Ϣϫⲟⲙ cannot be conjugated, and the verb that follows is always an infinitive (̀ⲉ-):
- Ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϣϫⲟⲙ ̀ⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ̀ⲛϯⲁⲥⲡⲓ ̀ⲛⲬⲏⲙⲓ.
- I can speak the Egyptian language.
- Ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϣϫⲟⲙ ̀ⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ̀ⲛϯⲁⲥⲡⲓ ̀ⲛⲬⲏⲙⲓ.
- To negate ϣϫⲟⲙ, we use ⲙⲙⲟⲛ:
