λαρινός
See also: λάρινος
Ancient Greek
Etymology
Unclear. Perhaps from λᾱρός (lārós, “pleasent to the taste, sweet, dainty”) + -ινός (-inós), however, the word also recalls Latin laridum (“lard”).
