Κάβειροι
Ancient Greek
Etymology
Not related to Sanskrit कुबेर (kubera, “god of riches and treasure”). The root of the name is clearly the same as that in Κάβαρνοι (Kábarnoi, “priests of Demeter”), suggesting a Pre-Greek origin.
