扎(紥、紮) [zā] 动

1. ■ （捆; 束） bind; tie; bundle up:

扎彩 hang up festoons;

腰扎皮带 wear a belt round one's waist;

把包裹扎起来 tie up a parcel;

扎小辫儿 tie up one's plaits; plait one's hair; wear one's hair in plaits;

绷带不要扎得太紧。 Don't tie the bandage too tight.

打扫房屋前， 她把头发用一块大手帕扎起来。 Before sweeping the house she bound up her hair in a large handkerchief.
