恰巧 [qià qiǎo]

1. ■ by chance; fortunately; as chance would have it; happen to:

那天恰巧是个晴天。 It happened to be a fine day.

那时我恰巧在乡下。 It (so) chanced that I was in the countryside at the time.

我恰巧在街上看到了你的父亲。 I chanced to see your father in the street.

我恰巧在街上遇到了她。 I met her by chance on the street.
