-ék
- Added to a verb to form a noun.
- fest (“to paint”) → festék (“paint”)
- játszik (“to play”) → játék (“toy, game”)
- hasad (“to rip”) → hasadék (“fissure, rip”)
- "Heterogeneous plural" suffix: added to a proper noun or sometimes a common noun to refer to a group of persons associated with somebody (e.g. a family, a circle of friends, etc.)
- Éviék mikor érkeznek? - When will "Évi and the associated group" arrive?
- Horváthék a második emeleten laknak. - The Horváth family / Horváths live on the second floor.
