- The Pingdingshan City Labour Dispute Arbitration Committee rejected Zhou Xianghua's appeal. Subseuqently, Zhou sued her work unit in court. On 9 December 2005, the case was tried by the Zhanhe district court of Pingdingshan. After hearing both sides of the argument, the collegiate panel delivered the verdict: Zhou lost her case.
