应允

应允 [yīng yǔn]

点头应允 nod assent;

勉强应允 reluctant consent;

欣然应允 willingly consent;

我不能应允你的要求。 I cannot assent to what you ask.

他们的父母无可奈何地应允了这门亲事。 Their parents unwillingly [grudgingly] consented to the marriage.
