Etymology
From Common Turkic *yakšï. Cognate with Turkmen ýagşy, Salar yaxşı, Crimean Tatar yahşı, Tatar яхшы (yaxşı), Kyrgyz жакшы (jakşı), Kazakh жақсы (jaqsy), Uzbek yaxshi, Uyghur ياخشى (yaxshi), dialectal Turkish yakşı.
