Perhaps from Arabic شَرَكَ (šaraka, “to share, partake, be a partner to”) with -q- for -k- as in several other words. Alternatively from شَرَقَ (šaraqa), أَشْرَقَ (ʾašraqa, “to shine”, also with beauty).
