  1. Not intoxicated; sober.

  2. (obsolete) Not moistened or wet with liquor; dry.
    • 1641, Joseph Hall, The Mischief of Faction, and the Remedy of it (sermon)
      How have we seen Churches and States, like a dry unliquored coach, set themselves on fire with their own motion!
