  1. (humorous) tax or taxes, treated as if it were taboo.

      Some will claim these tax hikes aren't really taxes. They'll search the dictionary to find every possible way to avoid using that “T” word.
  2. (euphemistic) The word tranny, regarded as offensive and taboo.
  3. (euphemistic) Any of several other words beginning with t when regarded (sometimes humorously) as taboo, for example tit, twat, turd, terrorist or terrorism, treason, Trump.
