- Anmerkung. Das ue iſt auch am Ende einer Sylbe kein eigentlicher Diphthong, ſondern das e finale zeigt nur an, daß der vorhergehende Vokal lang ſey; als in true &c. truh.[sic]
- Note. ue is not a diphthong at the end of a syllable either, as the e finale only indicates that the preceding vowel is long; as in true etc. truh [approximative German pronunciation of true].
