sustollo
Latin
Etymology
From sub- + tollō. The lack of a past system is illogical, but tollō itself seems to be the culprit due to that verb's perfect being stolen by ferō.
Pronunciation
- (Classical) IPA(key): /susˈtol.loː/, [s̠ʊs̠ˈt̪ɔlːʲoː]
- (Ecclesiastical) IPA(key): /susˈtol.lo/, [susˈt̪ɔlːo]
Verb
sustollō (present infinitive sustollere); third conjugation, no perfect or supine stem
- I raise or lift on high
- I build or erect
