千夫所指

千夫所指 [qiān fū suǒ zhǐ]

1. ■ be universally condemned; be condemned by the public; be in the dock; be up for general castigation with a thousand accusing fingers levelled against one; face a thousand accusing fingers:

千夫所指， 无病而死。 When everybody speaks against a person, it will make him tired of life [frightened to death].; A thousand pointing fingers accuse, and a man dies even without a sickness.; It is dangerous to incur public wrath.
